I honestly do not use balm all that often, but find myself in need of a nice hold and fly away taming from time to time. I truly love every item I’ve used from Johnnie Ray’s Pure Essentials collection including this balm. Nice, firm hold while keeping my beard soft. Goes great with my Grand Blanc oil, amazingly refreshing scent!
It's still a bit early to see results but I like it so far.
Great feeling beard when applied and combing through it glides through the beard so easily, as for the scent it's great
I was introduced to this on Dan C. Bearded's channel. I've struggled to find beard oil that doesn't irritate my skin or cause breakouts. The lightweight nature of this product is amazing - a little goes a long way and it is comfortable and great for the skin.
On top of that, the smell is amazing. I look forward to continuing to use this product, so I hope it remains a staple on this site.
As far as the growth effects, it's too early to really tell but clearly there was extensive research that was put into this product so I truly appreciate all the research and imagine it will help with greater growth over time.

I haven't met a Johnnie Ray scent i didn't like... This is a lovely mint explosion that invigorates and awakens the senses, love it!
I wasn't a citrus guy until I got my hands on this! Smells fantastic and you can tell this is quality stuff. Definitely recommend
The butter is amazing we all know that and the hemisqualane oil is a MAJOR game changer, beard just feels healthier, and the scent for me is relaxing and invigorating all at the same time
Coarse beard has never felt softer & fuller. Only been a couple weeks of use, but the quality of the product is obvious right away. Thanks to Dan C. Bearded for the heads-up on this one!
I rotate 3 other growth oils, not that I need to, I just like them and this one just got added to the list! Definitely a must-try!

This stuff is awesome. Everything I’ve tried from the Pure Essentials Collection has been great, this butter is no exception! Melts down so damn smooth and keeps my beard super soft all night. Sleeping Bear is the perfect scent for my bedtime butter routine. So calm and relaxing, definitely a favorite.
Smells amazing like basically everything from Johnnie Ray!! The pineapple is present but not at all overpowering. The oud is mellow but lingers just behind the fruity burst of pineapple. Really an intriguing scent as I never thought of pineapple and Oud as a combo. Well done Nate!!
Aptly named, Sleeping Bear is wonderfully calming and relaxing, not only as a scent but even the feel of the all essential oil blend in beard. There does seem to be some science behind the addition of Ho Wood essential oil as a potentially relaxing element due to its high content of linalool. This one before bed has been a true game changer for when I'm looking for a relaxing and restful sleep.
Oil is amazing fast absorption stops itch and flakes and the scent is so crisp and clean and invigorating, I highly recommend.
