From the website to the packaging to the presentation, all things Johnnie Ray Beard Co simply state "impeccable", "boutique", "high end", "exquisite". The oil itself - unmistakably next level. The beard butter - 2 ounces of S Tier silky smooth. I purchased the ultra light Legacy Blend (Apex blend features emu oil and is a might thicker). Sublime is an all essential oil blend, therefore the scent strength and duration are naturally toned down (lighter). This scent in beard is citrusy and minty combined and so amazing to start the morning with. Coupled with an industry leading feel in beard, my first thought after application was a resounding CARPE DIEM! Lots a love for this one.

Bright, Green, & Vibrant is how i'd describe Sublime! The bergamont note is up front and fantasticc! The black pepper and spearmint come in on the dry down more and really giver this a cologne style! I can see why this is a best seller!

For my very first order, I decided to try "Sublime." For whatever reason, it wasn't for me. The consistency and how it makes my beard feel is amazing, but I didn't care for the scent, just me personally. So I emailed Johnnie Ray to let them know and they went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer and that my satisfaction was worth more than the price of the beard oil. I've since tried other scents, and enjoyed them, but regardless of that, simply based on the customer service here they've won me over as a repeat customer. Best oil blend bar none.
Fragrance is very subjective but I’m not a fan of mint. The blend is so good that I’m using it anyway.
If you like mint and citrus this is the best oil on the market.

I like it going in beard, but it really shines for me after its in a while. Goes in like a clean shower, fresh and slightly invigorating, and then subtles out the with an airy fresh, unobtrusive calm. Perfect for summer!
Also, my first Apex blend, highly recommended. Feels great, light AND soft. Johnny Rocks!
