Scent Profile: A bold summer scent bursting with passionfruit, bergamot, spearmint, and earthy oud.
Celebrate the spirit of summer and independence with Torch Lake, now in a deeply nourishing beard butter. This bold essential oil blend is inspired by the breathtaking turquoise waters of Michigan’s Torch Lake.
It opens with a vibrant burst of passionfruit, bright and sunlit like a cannonball into cool, clear waters. Bergamot adds a citrusy spark, while spearmint cools like a breeze off the dock. Anchored by the smoky richness of oud, it finishes with the warmth of bonfires and the quiet strength of the surrounding woods.
Crafted for those who chase open skies and untamed shores, Torch Lake is a scent of freedom—fresh, fearless, and unforgettable.
Johnnie Ray Beard oil is specifically formulated to moisturize and nourish the hair and skin under your beard in two unique formulas. Both help to soften and tame unruly beard hair, reduce itching and flaking of the skin, promote healthy growth, and leave the beard looking shiny and well-groomed.

One of my top beard oil from Johnnie Ray. Love the passionfruit scent with the other ingredients. Recently bought the beard butter too.
Passion fruit from the beginning! A blast of fruit right out of the bottle. Smooths out after a couple hours into a nice blend of fruity spearmint. The bergamot adds to the citrus notes that keeps it going. That’s my take on this great summer profile.
The scent profile lasts all day and love the fresh smell.
Smells great and leaves my beard so soft!
Torch lake is absolutely fantastic! From feel in beard to scent to styling it’s an incredible product!
Nate was awesome. He expeditedmy order free of charge. I love the product. Smells and feel great.
Fast shipping havent tried it yet tho but i see i got a free sample of blue tansy which i was thinking of ordering how owesome is that
Cleans the beard and no residue left on my hairs
I was using Beard Octane's beard wash and conditioner until I came across the Blue Tansy beard wash and conditioner. Now, Blue Tansy beard wash and conditioner are the only products I use on my beard to keep soft manageable.
This is definitely one where you didn't think you need until you find yourself out in public at a restaurant and get ketchup or something similar in your beard/mustache and then smell it the rest of the night. Works great and doesn't leave my beard feeling dry or gross. Get some and love yourself
