Grand Blanc Beard Oil

Love the emu oil in the apex blend. You really can go wrong with Johnnie Ray. Soft yet manages to style great. The company really has a vast selection of scents (they are all good by the way) the grapefruit and mint are the perfect ratio. It’s just fresh crisp clean.

Very nice natural scent profile -- blast of pink grapefruit with just a hint of peppermint. Incredibly light, crisp, and refreshing ...a perfect match for spring and summer in the Legacy blend!

It lingers for a little while, yet is all but gone after a couple of hours. This is to be somewhat expected with essentials, especially citrus, however I'd hoped for stronger staying power.

Somehow the spearmint used in 'Torch Lake' lasts much longer. I quite enjoy catching whiffs of it when a gentle breeze comes along. It also returns to life when the beard gets wet. Maybe Nate and Hannah will mix up a grapefruit and spearmint scent of the month? (hint, hint)

While I have yet to try them all, this has been my favorite by far! Absorbs nicely and the scent is amazing!

Grand Blanc in the legacy blend is a must have for me as the weather starts to warm, and I'm outside more. It's light enough to let my beard blow in the breeze, and still be able to get it to behave when I get out of the wind. And has enough body to it to not frizz out in the humidity. The scent is light and refreshing. It hangs out enough to remind you it's there, but doesn't get too heavy in the heat. Its everything I want in an essential oil blend

Johnnie Ray beard oils are world class products. Grand blanc legacy blend is one of my favorites along with blue tansy. I truly cannot express how well the two blends work together when alternating between the two. The scent profiles and strength are spot on. This company has won my loyalty!

Great great scent! I love how light the grapefruit smell is, it is more sparky and cleaner than tradition citrus! My only complaint is that it seams kind of one-demential . I wish it was a cleaner balance of citrus to mint, or that it developed better. Overall still a good scent though!

This is very light scented, with a subtle grapefruit and mint scent. Good for a day where you want something a little more dialed back.

Such a smooth product. Feels great on my beard and on the skin underneath. A much healthier alternative to all of the nasty products I used to use. It smells great too. Not over powering. Keep my skin and beard nourished and helps make combing my beard much easier as well. I appreciate this company for their continued work on making their products better and better overtime and for taking the time to try new things.

Smells delightfully fresh, and nourishes well but at the same time it's light and delicate.

This is a fantastic oil. Lightweight and absorbs very quickly, leaving my beard soft all day long. Grand Blanc is a great scent. Very unique and “fresh” smelling. My wife even requested I put it in my beard for a night out haha! Loving the Johnnie Ray Pure Essentials collection so far!

Wasn't entirely sure these two scents would mesh well, but took Dan C's advice and gave it a shot - not disappointed at all. Smells great, and the mint is what lasts the longest for me. Really enjoyed this one!

This is a quality product. The oil is good in beard and the butter is on the thinner side and spreads easily. If you enjoy minty citrus scents then this is one to have.

It's hard to describe how Grand Blanc smells, but the best I can muster is fresh grapefruit skins and a kind of minty smell you'd find in a forest, rather than the chewing gum kind of mint smell you sometimes get.

The carrier blend is so smooth and leaves my beard feeling so revitalized. After using it for a few days and noticing how differently it leaves my beard feeling at the end of the day, I'm staggered thinking what life would be like without. The whole Pure EO line is a huge win.

Found this oil in a review and I must say I love it. The oil is pure and perfect. Its bottle is luxurious. The packaging was great and the hand written thank you note was a bonus. Definitely ordering more.
