Petoskey Bar soap

This bar soap was definitely not what I was expecting. It is the best lather I have ever seen. It melts into my beard and head hair, literally feels like I am washing my face with shaving cream. That’s the good stuff, now one thing that I don’t get. After a couple washes, I noticed the scent changed, it didn’t have that beautiful tasty citrus scent that it started with. Now it smells like bad chemicals. Still washes great, just don’t know why the scent is off! Still highly recommend this bar soap!

We also appreciate you pointing out the scent change as the bar gets smaller. With Petoskey being an all-citrus essential oil blend, those citrus molecules (and mint-type profiles) are the quickest to fade in soap form. It’s a natural characteristic of those oils, but your feedback is incredibly helpful for us. For future batches, we may look at increasing the overall percentage of the citrus profile to help the scent hold longer throughout the life of the bar.

Best beard stripper I’ve ever used! I have absolutely no reason to try anything else. Great product, great price, and it gets the job done as advertised!

I almost wish I could give this soap more than a 5-star rating 👍. It is the most invigorating soap I’ve ever used. It’s safe to say that I’ve found my new go to Sunday stripping beard soap. It left my whole body tingling 👍👍👍. And the icing on the cake is that now my whole bathroom smells like a stick of winter fresh gum.

Frankenmuth Soap is Fabulous!

Very nice oil infused soap, and if you enjoy that cool and minty pop of Johnnie Ray's blue tansy products, this one'll give ya a tingle where ya jingle. Take care so as to not leave the soap in the shower, allow it to dry between uses for a longer lasting bar. I founf best "sudsying up" results from rubbing the bar directly on my skin. Adds luxury to bath or shower time!

Kick **** soap!!

It’s just soap, right?? Wrong!! It’s a bar of soap from Johnnie Ray, so you KNOW that it’s no ordinary soap!! Left my skin & beard feeling clean, my skin felt soft, and Frankenmuth?? Did I mention how AMAZING this scent IS?? Peppermint & Blue Tansy combine for a scent of chill, relaxation.

My favorite bar soap I've used

I've used bar soap almost exclusively for 4-5 years now and have tried all different kinds out there from options in a box store to small batch. This soap is seriously the best I've used. There is another bar that works equally as well but what puts this one above them all is the Frankenmuth scent which works so well with shower products. Not only is the smell of the soap excellent, it also provides a tingly effect from the peppermint EO in there. I usually finish my showers with a cold rinse and, my goodness, is it the most intense cooling effect ever!

No matter what scent you choose, the end result is a damn good wash. Enjoy the lather and squeaky clean feeling.

This is one of the best soaps I've ever used. My only want is for the bar to be just a tad bigger. Started using it the night I got it and it'll be done by Sunday. If you aren't using it, you should be.
It's already gone. This is really nice soap, but to be gone in a week is too fast. Had to take some stars away. Not quite worth, unless you can afford a bar of soap a week
