My first encounter with the Coldwater oil was in a sampler pack I won last year and it was my instant favorite of the bunch. It’s nice and light and reminds me of my favorite spearmint gum which is fantastic during the muggy summers we get in WI. Just a very nice, overall cool scent to keep the man mane feeling and smelling fresh during hot summers. Definitely recommend!
I haven't met a scent from Johnnie Ray's that I haven't liked, but I'm obsessed with this one!
I really enjoy Johnny Ray's products. Gallbladder is a nice minty but yet fruity oil that goes really well for everyday or even spice things up a little bit for church or funeral or a wedding. The only downside that I give is that they ask reviews at midnight and emails goes off at that time when people are trying to sleep. Really wish that companies would be more considerate about time and when emails about reviews goes out to the customer.
The scent of this oil is reminiscent of chewing a piece of Winterfresh gum! It's not overpowering. The oil absorbs extremely fast in skin and hair and I love it for that. I've been applying mainly as a night time oil. Outstanding product.

Very nice natural scent profile -- blast of pink grapefruit with just a hint of peppermint. Incredibly light, crisp, and refreshing ...a perfect match for spring and summer in the Legacy blend!
It lingers for a little while, yet is all but gone after a couple of hours. This is to be somewhat expected with essentials, especially citrus, however I'd hoped for stronger staying power.
Somehow the spearmint used in 'Torch Lake' lasts much longer. I quite enjoy catching whiffs of it when a gentle breeze comes along. It also returns to life when the beard gets wet. Maybe Nate and Hannah will mix up a grapefruit and spearmint scent of the month? (hint, hint)
