Who is Johnnie Ray?

Johnnie Ray was, in my eyes, the epitome of what a “good man” was supposed to look like.

He was the type of person that would give you the clothes off his back and shoes from his feet if it meant that you wouldn’t be without.

He taught me that kindness and generosity made a man richer than any amount of wealth could ever provide.

He consistently maintained a spirit about himself that sought out the best in people regardless of who they were, where they came from, or what situation they were going through; he was always looking for the light in people.

It's an honor and a privilege to use my grandfather's name, Johnnie Ray, so we can share his legacy for years to come.

My wife Hannah and I set out to create something special that transcended beard care products and reach people on a more personal level, just as he did with everyone he came across whether friend, family, or stranger alike.

With so many choices of amazing products on the market, we realized that beyond creating a phenomenal product, we wanted to honor my grandfather who made a tremendously positive impact on every person with whom he interacted during his time on this planet.

It was official, Johnnie Ray had taken on new life and the legacy that he left was to continue onward through our mission of becoming better humans for our friends, families, and community.
